Now Accepting Submissions for the NACA News

The theme for the Summer 2018 issue is:

Hands-on/Hands-off:  How the Pros Do It

Provide us with best practices on animal handling and behavior.  What are your creative animal handling techniques?  Which animals should you handle -- or not handle?  What are some of the professional animal handling tools you routinely use?  What does your animal handling training for staff and volunteers look like?  What are the consequences of not using proper handling techniques?

Articles should be 500 - 1500 words, and accompanied by photos when possible. Be sure to include a short two to three sentence biography to let our readers know more about you. Send your completed article to mgoodman@nacanet.org.

Don't have an article to share? Share a picture. Photos should be the highest resolution possible, and be at least 300 DPI and no larger than 500 pixels on the longest side (this allows us room to re-size and add Drop Shadow, etc.) Please do not embed photos within your e-mail message or within a document. Photos should be sent as a separate file attachment. Be sure to provide a caption for your photo.

Submission deadline for the Summer 2018 issue of NACA News is June 10, 2018. For more information about article and photo requirements, visit the NACA website: NACA News.
