Farewell and Thank You to Diane Webber

NACA would like our membership to know that our President, Diane Webber, has resigned as the NACA President and from the NACA Board of Directors for personal reasons.

Since being elected to the Board in 2012, Diane’s time on the Board of Directors was full of hard work.  She has served on several committees including the Marketing and Branding committee, Bylaws committee, Newsletter committee, Professional Outreach committee, Scholarship committee, Document Review committee, Conference committee, Conference Award committee, as well as the Executive Committee. She has also mentored two new board members. She served as the NACA Vice President in the 2016-2017 term before being elected as the NACA President in October of 2017. In addition to her committee assignments, she also served as the NACA representative on the Shelter Animals Count Board of Directors since 2013.

The NACA Board of Directors would like to thank Diane Webber for her passion and desire to help. She has been a central figure in making what NACA is today, the foremost leader in education and resources in the animal care and control industry.

Per the NACA bylaws, the NACA Vice President, Robert Leinberger will assume the Presidential responsibilities until the new election period in October of 2018. NACA wishes Diane the best in her future endeavors.

The NACA Board of Directors has set new membership pricing for the various member types. The new membership fees will go into effect on January 1, 2018. The new membership fees can be found on the Membership page.
