How to Receive ‘NACA Approved’ Status for a Training or Class

Please read the following information before submitting your application. Also see LIST OF NACA APPROVED TRAINING for a schedule of recent and upcoming classes that are already NACA Approved.

NACA Approved Training Programs are defined as instructor-led training that meets the learning principles within one of NACA’s four core learning criteria areas. (See RECERTIFICATION & CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS for more information on criteria.) These training opportunities may be in-person events or webinar presentations, and may be offered once or repeatedly.

Application for approval of specific training for CEU’s may be made by:

1.    by the instructor/organizer,

2.    by the student,

3.    or as in-house training by an agency for its own staff.

Instructors/organizers offering approved trainings will be publicly listed on the NACA website unless they request otherwise. Training approved via the other methods (after submission by an individual student, or by an agency as in-house training for its own staff) will not be publicly listed.

Requests for approval of individual classes should be submitted via the Curriculum Approval Form, found at the bottom of this page. If you are seeking approval of large group of classes, as for a multi-day conference, email John Thompson, NACA Executive Director, at JThompson@nacanet.org and we'll help you out.
Are/were you a student in a training that wasn't 'NACA Approved' in advance, but you think it might qualify? Have other questions? Email John Thompson, NACA Executive Director, at JThompson@nacanet.org and we'll help you out.
